The contents of my WBStartup drawer are as follows:
FKey Handy for running scripts, programs etc from a press of a key
MMBCommodity This is great for making use of a middle mouse button. Mine is set up as shift.
MagicMenu You know this. It enables WB menu access from anywhere on the screen.
Eject Drag a Zip/CD etc icon over to this to eject it from it's drive. No really!
EjectCD This opens my CD's tray. Oh yes it does. Even better it closes it as well.
OxyPatcher This boosts the '040 by emulating the missing instructions, and gives quite a good boost in speed.
OxyPatcher.pref The settings file for OxyPatcher.
RexxMast Obvious.
TolleUhr A clock with options(?). See through(oo-er), shape etc...
ToolsDaemon Add several options to your menu bar to run programs.
RAWBInfo Improved icon info update for WB3.5.
TweakWB Alter hidden bits of WB3.5 with ease.
OpenDrawers Use this to get drawers to open when WB boots.
setKeyAndMenu.rexx Add tools, hotkeys to your WB3.5 setup.
and an info file for the
starting of this
BenchTrash Drag files or drawers over to this to delete them.
I also have a drawer for putting files into if I don't want them to be started up at boot time.
---------- No, not BenchTrash! ----------
All of the files can be found through AFFind, or on Aminet, except REXXMAST which comes with Workbench, and the OxyPatcher files, which is a comercial piece of software. I have put a slightly lower quality jpeg of the motorbike in there as well. The image was scanned from a photo I had taken in the front garden, can you tell I am not a photographer?. It is squished quite a bit to fit on my screen. This was something that I bought a few years ago in a slightly dodgy working order. I fixed it up, after the wiring decided to melt, and got it working perfectly. I decided to sell it on eventually, something I have regretted ever since.
I have put my startup-sequence/user-startup files and a text file showing what is listed under ToolsDaemon in a drawer called S: This will show you that I have a slightly strange set-up, but it works fine...I have added comments to explain what is going on within it all.
Quite a strange startup. The first one is my standard boot choice. I have added some comments just to show anything you might not recognise. These are not normally there. This is stable, but eats a fair bit of Chip ram.
The second one is only used if I press the start bar at boot time. The third only if I press any of the shift keys. More Chip ram, but a little unstable at times, due to FBlit. Stable, lots of Chip ram, mainly for more FPS.
These will be done away with as soon as my BVision arrives. I have been waiting a ridiculous length of time for this.
